  • National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care—The purpose of this web-site is to provide an evolving list of health and safety topics applicable to children.

  • The Missouri Partnership for Enhanced Delivery of Services (MO-PEDS) is a three-year grant project committed to the development and coordination of a system of care for children with special health care needs. Opening page presents with a side bar featuring many interesting areas of interest.
  • Family Page--Features a “Fun and Games Section” for the whole family
  • Resource and Links--Presents multiple sites for families that offer support and education
  • Emergency Info Form--(Emergency Preparedness for Children with Special Health Care Needs). The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Emergency Physicians have developed an Emergency Information Form (EIF) for Children with Special Health Care Needs.   • KidsNeeds is a new global resource on the World Wide Web where children with special needs, families and others can log onto for comprehensive information.

  • The purpose of this web-based list-serve group is to provide a forum where families of children who are enrolled in early intervention services in New Jersey may meet other families, share ideas, give and receive support and learn new information.

  • Statewide Parent Advocacy Network of New Jersey” is a statewide parent advocacy network for families and professionals interested in and involved with the healthy development and educational rights of children. Span is committed to children with special needs

  • The Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief fund was established by legislation to provide financial assistance for families whose children have experienced an illness or condition that is not covered y insurance, State or Federal programs, or other source.

  • The Arc of New Jersey” is a statewide, private, nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to build a better quality of life for people with mental retardation and their families.

  • New Jersey Center for Outreach and Services for the Autism Community” is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing information, advocacy, and services to families and professionals in the Autism Community.

  • New Jersey Developmental Disabilities Council” is authorized by the Federal Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act and New Jersey State Law to promote systems change, coordinate advocacy and research for individuals with developmental and other disabilities. Provides information on how to be partners in policymaking and advocacy.

  • The “Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey’s” mission is to change lives and bring independence to individuals wit all types of disabilities. The resource link on the opening page presents family, friends, and health professionals with valuable information.

  • The “Spina Bifida Association of the Tri-State Region” assists individuals with spina bifida through advocacy, education, public awareness, research and programs. Programs are also geared to the prevention of spina bifida.

  • The “Brain Injury Association of New Jersey” is a state wide organization dedicated to providing education, outreach, prevention, advocacy, and support service to all persons affected by brain injury and to the general public.

  • The “Judy Center for Down Syndrome” is part of the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center. The Judy center is a group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to the care of individuals with Down syndrome. To reach the Judy Center first click onto the above web address. This will bring you to the Hackensack University Medical Center opening page. Next, click on Department and Services. Then click on to Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital and lastly click onto the Judy Center for Down syndrome.
