Under the direction of the Office of Public Health Nursing Director, is responsible for all phases of administration of the Infectious Disease Division, including TB, HIV CTS, Reportable Diseases, STD and Immunization Management. Relates to the epidemiologist as regards reportable disease outbreaks and bio-terrorism. Administers/writes the TB, HIV CTS grants and the STD, Immunization Management contracts in concert with appropriate senior public health nursing staff. Develops and conducts team meetings for staff development and problem solving; works on policy, protocols and procedure development, as needed or directed.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, in a professional and supportive public health nursing environment. Salary based on related experience; excellent benefit package.
Requirements include:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing supplemented by a Master’s Degree in Nursing or Public Health; current New Jersey Professional Nursing license; four years of experience in a health organization involving the development, administration, and evaluation of programs designed to detect and/or treat chronic diseases; minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity; computer literacy; current New Jersey driver’s license.
