Eat Right, Play Hard Challenge 2011-2012

Eat Right, Play Hard

Welcome to a new school year and the fourth year of our Eat Right, Play Hard Challenge!  A new series of activities will be presented that are designed to help students move more and make healthy eating choices.

Schools in towns that contract with the Department of Health Services for health promotion will automatically receive materials to help implement upcoming events prior to the event. Schools that participate in 6 of the activities will receive an award declaring

“We Met the Challenge!”

You may participate in all, or any, of the events.  If you prefer to use activities from either of the first three years, that is fine too.

All schools who participate in the Challenge will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Staff from the Office of Health Promotion are available for technical assistance and advice.  We hope you will enjoy this year’s Challenge and find it both helpful and fun.
