The Bergen County Department of Health Services, TB Control Program, will host a World TB Day event on Friday, April 18. Mark Wolman, Program Manager, New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) Global Tuberculosis Institute, will present "Tuberculosis: Global to Local" and Lillian Pirog, Nurse Manager, NJMS Global Tuberculosis Institute, will present "Fundamentals of Tuberculosis: Nursing in Children and Adolescents." In addition, two workshops will be presented on reading tuberculin skin tests and the use of N-95 masks. A variety of displays and posters about TB will also be available for viewing.
