 Partnering with the Community for a Healthier County

The Office of Health Promotion addresses the essential public health services by informing, educating and empowering people about health issues, linking people to needed personal health services, and mobilizing community partnerships to identify and solve health problems. The office is responsible for conducting a health education program for contracting municipalities and fulfilling health education functions in a variety of programs. The office also manages the Health Promotion Resource Center, increases public awareness and education through a variety of channels, and coordinates participation in countywide events.
